FOR THE FAMILY THAT RUNS THE PLAN
The military gives the orders.
Somebody at home runs the plan.
Binders, spreadsheets, checklists, and kids packs that turn military life into a plan you can run. Plain English. Every entitlement claimed. Nothing left to guess at 0200.
THE GAP
The orders come with a gap.
This is how you close it.
WHAT THEY HAND YOU
- Orders with 30 days of notice nobody asked for
- An LES with 30+ cryptic codes and real money hiding in them
- A move where you front the costs and hope the claim works out
- A deployment date and a "you've got this" on the way out the door
- "Talk to a financial advisor" from people selling something
WHAT BATTLE PLAN MIL HANDS YOU
- An LES Decoder that turns what you earn into what comes home
- A PCS binder with the timeline, the checklists, and the receipts page, so the move gets claimed to the dollar
- A deployment binder that runs the countdown, the contacts, and the handoff, so the household doesn't skip a beat
- An Emergency Binder that answers the question you cannot afford to be guessing at when the phone rings
- Kids packs, because they're moving too
- Fillable PDF plus Excel. Built by a veteran. No subscriptions, no upsells.

WHO BUILT THIS & WHY
Built by someone who's lived
both ends of the orders.
I'm not a finance influencer. I grew up in this. Nine moves, three countries, and a mother who ran every one of them while my dad served. Then I put on the uniform and read the LES the hard way. The member's name is on the orders. The whole house executes them. These tools are for everybody holding a piece of that plan.
QUESTIONS, ANSWERED
The honest FAQ.
No. I'm not a licensed financial advisor and Battle Plan Mil is not financial advice. I'm a veteran who lived this pay system and spent twenty-plus years in financial services IT, so I know how to read source documents and I don't guess. Every rate in these tools is pulled from the official DoD and DFAS sources and updated annually. If you need licensed advice for a specific decision, the worksheets make that conversation faster. They don't replace it.
Etsy handles checkout, delivery, refunds, and tax. That frees me up to update the actual tools when BAH and tax tables shift. You get a platform you already trust with your card. I get to stay a one-veteran shop with no subscription bloat.
Free annual updates while the listing is active. Once you register your Etsy purchase on the site, every updated form is available for re-download from your account when BAH, tax tables, or DoD pay tables shift. The free calculators on this site update automatically. The numbers behind all of it are sourced and documented in the rate methodology.
No. Every calculator runs entirely in your browser. Nothing is saved, sent, or logged. The printables are PDFs and spreadsheets. They live on your machine the moment you download them.
Reserve, Guard, and transitioning veterans all use these. The LES translator and finance spreadsheet are useful for anyone with a military pay history. The PCS and deployment binders are aimed at the active component.
No refunds. These are digital products and they go out the door the moment you check out. But if something's broken or wrong, message me and I'll fix it. That's the deal.
FINAL CHECK
Stop guessing what your LES means.
Stop winging the next PCS.
